The Mersin Screening of the 27th Flying Broom Women’s Film Festival was held
We have left behind a weekend of film screenings, workshops and discussions.The 27th Flying Broom Women's Film Festival Mersin Screening was organised for the first time in Mersin with the cooperation of Mersin Film Office (MFO), Flying Broom Foundation, Association of Women Journalists (KGD) and Women's News.
The gala programme began with the participation of Halime Güner, one of the founders of the Flying Broom Foundation, actress Meltem Cumbul, winner of the Flying Broom Bilge Olgaç Achievement Award, and Öyküsu Özyürek, winner of the Young Witch Award.

Prof. Senem Duruel Erkılıç moderated a discussion with production designer Natali Yeres on "Women's Labour in the Cinema Industry". In addition, a "Production Workshop" was organised with producer Nefes Polat on filmmaking practices.
Throughout the festival, we had a weekend full of stimulating conversations, filmmaking tips and films from which we learned a lot.
